Founded in 1981 by SANDRA CHORON, March Tenth, Inc. brings over 30 years of publishing experience–in both editorial and production capacities–to its clients. As a successful literary agency, March Tenth has represented over 100 authors in areas ranging from general reference and pop culture to health, humor, and fine fiction. The agency has handled projects with every major American publisher as well as a variety of smaller houses. March Tenth provides hands-on editorial guidance on all projects as well as an attentive approach to production and post-publication issues.
As a packager, March Tenth has produced over 200 titles in both illustrated and text-only formats. Working closely with clients in many highly creative areas, March Tenth has packaged projects for large and small publishers as well as private clients. The company has also produced record packages for artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Shania Twain, and Mark Knopfler.

Submission Guidelines

We accept submissions and query letters by conventional mail or by email. Your query letter should: 

  1. State the genre of your work and include a brief description of the project and the approximate word count.
  2. State your qualifications and previous writing or publishing experience or include some basic information about your background.
  3. Include all your contact information.
  4. Include a one to two page synopsis if you are submitting a novel as well as the first ten pages of the first chapter only.
  5. State whether or not your work has been previously shown to publishers.

If you are submitting fiction do not send us the entire manuscript unless it has been requested. If you are submitting non-fiction please do so by conventional mail or email.
If you are sending us materials that you would like to have returned, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) with the correct postage amount. If you would like us to recycle your materials please let us know.
Note that:

  1. We do not accept children’s or young adult novels, plays, screenplays or poetry.
  2. Our agency does not charge a reading fee and does not employ the use of outside readers. Please address your mail to either Sandy or Harry Choron at:
