I just noticed that Blake Lively was going to be on the cover of the soon to be released “Maria Claire” December 2009 issue. I thought to myself, why not do a blog and post that to the world. I enjoy Blake Lively. We have done blogs about her here on JournalStone.com. Then I do a search on our website to pull up some past posts and guess what I found. Don’t get blown away by this but we have never done a post on Blake Lively here at JournalStone.com.
I now feel the disservice we have been giving to our public and open the door wide for the barrage of insults that need to be hurled my way. I doll them out now and again so I need to be willing to take them as well. I guess we have hit on a Gossip Girl now and then with a post but we seem to have skipped Blake. I will apologize to her as well the next time she drops by our offices and tell her that I admire her as much as the next girl. I had no ill malice leaving her off the prestigious list of Duncan’s Ladies.

Blake is getting all geared up for her new movie that just started production, “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee” She is no novice to movies even at the ripe age of 22, having been involved in the traveling jeans movies. She actually saw her pants roaming the world in both the original and the sequel. I can’t say that I saw either one of those movies. I am all about chic flicks as anyone who reads this blog knows but even I draw the line at certain movies. If I am going to see a movie about a girls pants it will have an entirely different take to it.
Not that I want to get personal I am just saying. There has to be a certain level of etiquette in everything we do. If you are a more cordial person then don’t talk about your pants wherever they might be and don’t go get a swine flu shot. Apparently the lines are getting long and people are getting testy. Some folks are even starting to complain about why pregnant women and the elderly are being given priority. Damn straight, why should we care about the weak? Let’s just shove them out of the way and let the strong survive. Maybe if we had a pair of pants travel the flu shot lines we could get a look at how people really act under pressure.
I will apologize to Blake one more time, wish her luck in her movie and tell her if she wants to take her pants off that is fine by me. I am not here to judge, unlike some people I know.
Sometimes I feel like a nut and sometimes I just want to tell people where to stick that finger they enjoy pointing so liberally.
