No offense to all of you slathering man pigs out there. I am one of you and I can relate. Women are good looking and we ogle them to no end. All that I can say is this. It is nice once in a while when art interacts with sheer natural feminine beauty and produces a product like the 2010 Campari Calendar. Granted this specific calendar is taking on a life of its own. The limited production continues to add to its appeal and the quality of the photos mixed with the unique presentation is astounding. There is nothing like throwing up a few pictures and writing senseless drabble but it is nice now and then to see such a visibly stunning calendar of such high quality.
Maybe one day the JournalStone calendar will hold some level of status as well. Once we produce one that is. Someday.
The berating that I receive from my friends over the last few weeks of candy and roller skating girls is beginning to take its toll but alas we have to equate a balance in life. I emphatically fight for the right to display the beautiful women that populate our site but at some point agree we most post some form of artistic depiction as well. Olga Kurylenko has provided us with that opportunity. She graces the months with beauty. The sultry foreign swagger she exudes matches her recent go at being one of the few Bond women that can actually do more than bat her eyes and spread her legs. Don’t get me wrong I assume she can do it all but she seems to come with a little substance as well.
At the ripe age of 29 (turning 30 next month by the way) she is a late bloomer to the Hollywood scene but she has been modeling since she was a teenager. I personally have not seen the Maxim.com cover shoot she did for last December 2008′s issue but it would be worthwhile perusing through I am sure. There is just something about those Ukrainian women that drive me crazy. It is almost unfair how their exotic look seems to flow out of every pore on their body. Makes me wonder if there is a Ukrainian calendar out there in the world somewhere.
So for our two faithful followers that we have don’t fret. The site will get back to the women blogs shortly. We just wanted to take a break and enjoy some actually art for a minute. Admiring something that has crossed all boundaries of female flesh and the elevated status that the Campari Calendar possesses.
